August Newsletter NewsFeatures-2

Our Agent of the Month is Stacie Carubba from New Orleans!

Can you introduce yourself and tell me how you got involved in real estate?

I got into real estate in 2015 after going through a divorce.  It was just for some extra money but then I started posting about it on social media casually and it just took off. I had no plan! Normally, I am very planned and strategic about business. My business took off on its own over time. I always wanted to be a leader and strive to be my own boss so I became a partner in the brokerage this past year. The last week of 2020 was very eventful as I got my brokerage license on December 23rd! Although it is a business, people resonated with me because they want a personal connection when looking for a home.

What is your number 1 tip for sellers who are listing their home?

Don’t overprice. Listen to advice from others. Doing the prep work up front, having amazing photos and marketing and picking the right pay!

What things do you do to set yourself apart from other Realtors in New Orleans?

I try to go above and beyond. I am an over communicator. If people have to follow up with me, I haven’t done my job. I also am very crazy detail oriented so that comes in handy for the pretty stuff like the marketing and photos. With the contract everything is detail oriented!

What are some ways you are involved with your community? Do you volunteer for any causes that are important to you?

I have been a member of the Junior League of New Orleans since 2013. I also am on the committee for the immune deficiency foundation. I am currently the Vice President of a business networking group (BNI). I enjoy being involved in different causes!
