High quality photography is now seen as a necessity for real estate professionals these days, but what else can we include in our marketing to maximize our reach? IMOTO has compiled the top rising real estate photography trends of 2020 and unsurprisingly, social media marketing is going to be huge for Realtors' success. Check out these 4 tips to use in your marketing:

Social Media Marketing is consistently increasing among Realtors.

According to the NAR, about 80% of realtors are using Facebook as the most popular social media platform to advertise their services. Realtors are creating  public Instagram and Facebook accounts to showcase their listings, a portfolio and their personality. Posting your listings on a public Instagram account can help increase your views while interacting with potential customers.

Realtors are using a variety of products, rather than just photography.

There are many products to choose from: floor plans, virtual staging, twilight, social media packages, drone photos, etc. In 2019, nearly half of all IMOTO orders contained products other than just photography, such as virtual staging, floor plans, twilight and virtual twilight, etc. The number of orders with other products has been increasing over the past couple of years. Try out a new product in 2020 to refresh your social media marketing plan.

Drone Photography and Videos are soaring in popularity.

In 2020, we will see more use of drone photography and video. According to a study by SoldByAir, 88% of sellers would prefer an agent who uses drones for photography and video. Drone spiked in popularity a couple years ago and is still going strong. This is a great way to showcase listings near a park, lake, forest or just bigger homes with a lot of detail and more property.

Virtual Staging and Virtual Tours are a great asset to your online presence.

Customers can easily visualize how they would live in their future home when listings are virtually furnished. This is a cost-effective way to seamlessly showcase a furnished listing to look and feel more like home to the customer.
